On December 15, 2017, police officers were called to Bernard Sherman's home in North York, Toronto, where they discovered the bodies of Sherman and his wife hanging side by side next to their indoor pool. The deaths are being treated as "suspicious" and Toronto Police Service Homicide has taken the lead in the investigation. Post-mortem examinations showed the cause of death for both deceased was "ligature neck compression".
According to their real estate agent who was helping sell the multi-million $$ home, they were found just before noon on Friday while the agent entered the house after not being able to contact the couple.
Sherman was in the middle of a lawsuit brought on by cousins suing for a portion of the family fortune. In September 2017, an Ontario Superior Court justice ruled against the cousins. At the time of the judgment, a lawyer for the cousins said they would appeal, though no appeal occurred, and Sherman died a few months later under suspicious circumstances.
He was the chairman and CEO of Apotex Inc. with an estimated net worth of $3.2 billion at the time of his death. According to Forbes, Sherman was the 12th wealthiest person in Canada.
Police initially called it a murder-suicide. Late Saturday afternoon the family released a statement saying they don’t believe that theory. The couple have four children.
Two days later, the police are now calling it murder.
So far no evidence exists, no suicide note and no forced entry into the home was found.
Sherman was a prominent backer of the Liberal party led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This year, Karen Shepherd, the federal lobbying commissioner, said she was investigating the propriety of Sherman hosting a Liberal party fundraiser in 2015 that featured Trudeau before he was elected prime minister.
Because Sherman was registered as a lobbyist at the time, some political opponents and a political ethics group charged that the event violated federal lobbying rules. Apotex had asked a court to end the investigation, calling it an “unanchored fishing expedition.”
Dr. Bernard C. Sherman was born to a Jewish family and entered the University of Toronto's engineering science program at age 16, believed to be the youngest to do so. He graduated with the highest honors in his class and received the university's Governor General's Award for his thesis. He then received a PhD in astrophysics from MIT..
A Jewish, liberal, pharmaceutical billionaire under investigation by the FLC and in the midst of lawsuits with family over large sums of money was found dead still hanging by his neck, next to his wife who was also dead hanging by her neck, near their indoor swimming pool.
Could this be an inside job? This is how the Sanhedrin's do it. They do it to their own people. The motivation would be to remove the obstruction.
Nobody get's to his level without help via corruption and manipulation.
Remembering the death of Amschel Mayer James Rothschild. Sources claim the family looked down on Amschel as not being strong enough to take over the family affairs. He was next in line to become head of the massive fortune and direction of the family interests. He had become an obstruction.
In 1996 an inquiry had established that Rothschild, 41, a billionaire investment banker and a noted sportsman in excellent health, was discovered lifeless on the floor of the bathroom of his suite at the luxurious Bristol Hotel in Paris on July 8 at 7:32 pm.
Police found that he had been strangled with the heavy cord of his own bathrobe. One end of the cord was attached to a towel rack, as if to suggest that Rothschild's violent death was self-inflicted.
"The French crime scene investigators never called it 'suicide,' "reporter Theirry de Segonzac told The Spotlight in a telephone interview from Paris. "After photographing the body, one of the detectives gave the towel rack tied to the body a strong tug. It came right out of the wall."
"Had Rothschild really attempted to hang himself from that rack, he would have ended up with nothing worse than a couple of holes in the wall", de Segonzac said.
There was no suicide note, no discernible cause or reason for a finding of suicide, knowledgeable sources say.
According to The Spotlight, French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac had ordered police to close their investigation. Media outlets worldwide had ignored these mysterious developments. Some reported the death was a suicide, other outlets disregarded the death altogether.
Think about it.
